The Wonder of a Name

Names mean something. Sometimes the meaning comes from what we come to associate about someone – a feeling, a remembrance. But, in biblical times names were given to signify something, to reveal a truth. Before he was even born, Mary and Joseph were each told by an angel to name their first child Jesus. What is it that God wants us to know that awakens the wonder of Christmas in us today?
